Columbia Gorge
We needed a spring time escape, so we headed down to check out the Columbia Gorge east of Portland. A nice moderate hike up a prototypical Pacific NW valley to a couple of waterfalls (Weisendanger, Ecola) on the Oregon side, and another nice hike to some commanding views on the Washington side.
